I love working with Java-based lambdas, but one of the primary headaches is the infamous cold start, it costs us time and money.
In this lecture, I will show a few ways that can help minimize the duration and frequency of cold starts, which will cut cloud costs and turn the heat up a bit.
We will review how Java-based lambdas work, what is a cold start, why we want to minimize it, and most importantly: how.
I will present actionable and easy-to-implement cold start best practices and show several ways to improve your internal process in general.
